A university with over 50 years of history, Unisinos is one of the largest private institutions in Brazil.
The new campus of the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos in Porto Alegre occupies an entire city block with an area of 13,000 m². The Educational building is the most important part of the complex, with 10 floors, including two underground levels. Guardian SunGuard™ High Performance (HP) Neutral Plus 50 was chosen for the building’s façade. The low emissivity laminated solar control glass helps to reduce solar energy gain and lets natural daylight into interior spaces. The glazing has an attractive neutral appearance with a hint of smoke gray.
