SPA MAESTOSO: A Modern Glass Masterpiece in a Historic Setting
SPA MAESTOSO is a hotel that combines contemporary elegance with respect for the natural and cultural heritage of Lipica, the oldest European stud farm and the birthplace of the famous Lipizzaner breed. The hotel, designed by ENOTA, features a striking glass façade that reflects the surrounding landscape and creates a contrast with the traditional stone buildings. The glass product used for the exterior is SunGuard® High Durable HD Silver 70, a high durability sputter coated solar control glass that offers excellent optical clarity and energy performance that is traditionally associated with sputtered coatings. The glass satisfies the architects' vision of creating a transparent and light-filled structure that harmonizes with the environment and provides stunning views of the Karst region. SunGuard® High Durable HD Silver 70 also enables the glass to be used monolithically, without the need for additional protection or lamination, making it a versatile and cost-effective solution. SPA MAESTOSO is a standout project that showcases the beauty and functionality of glass in a unique and historic location.
