Îlot Balmoral

Îlot Balmoral emerges as a stunning architectural gem in the heart of Montréal’s Quartier des spectacles. The building’s defining feature is a massive, bright red opening that nods to the vibrancy of the arts while serving as a beacon connecting the city’s downtown core and the cultural hub. Dividing the structure into two distinct blocks, this feature reveals a full-height atrium that floods the interior with natural light and creates an airy, transparent impression. The project is striving for LEED® Canada-NC Gold certification, compensating solar heat with a glazed envelope featuring SunGuard™ SN 68 on UltraClear and clear glass. Îlot Balmoral serves as a visual canvas for cinematographic projections during events and prioritizes user wellbeing by maximizing controlled daylight throughout.
