SunGuard® Solar Plus Green 50 is a new addition to the Guardian SunGuard® Solar reflective glass family. Solar Plus Green 50 is the preferred choice for architects and designers seeking a soothing, light green color that offers excellent solar control and thermal insulation. It also offers a more energy-efficient alternative to green-coated glass.
Despite its single-pane glass form, Solar Plus Green 50 combines excellent solar control and thermal insulation with high natural light transmittance (54%) and low internal reflectivity (4%) and external reflectivity (16%). This glass has a solar heat transmittance coefficient of 0.44, helping architects and designers achieve their energy efficiency certification objectives.
Green 50 can be used in a variety of commercial and residential applications, including glass curtain walls, windows, facades, partitions, roof windows, and skylights. It can be used with double-glazed insulated glass or in large-scale applications, where the glass has been tested and proven to be durable.
Green 50 is designed from clear plain glass and is available in annealed finishes. Heat-treated and laminated for safety, security, and sound absorption applications.
